Branded Shoes comes in Discount Values
Branded shoes are the expensive versions which are always not affordable ones for common household persons. There are shoes which are specially crafted with high end designs from experienced and skilled authorities or the superior quality refrains the brand owners to sell the product at lower price. And all these matters though very rewarding for a purchaser but with budget consciousness it is always not possible. Not only the purchasers are deprived of good quality products but this also hampers the possible business of the company which is indeed a huge loss. So to accommodate both the issues in one platform, the marketing strategy used by plenty of brand owners are the discount facility which helps both the parties to get their desired profit.
The discount shoes are those shoes which are given by brands at lesser cost at specific time of the year or may be some festive occasion or may be stock clearance time. This shoes are the branded products but to fetch the boost in sales the same is given at lower cost. This scheme is taken by all popular brands like Adidas shoes or Nike or diesel shoes or other brand names. These cheap boots are pretty beneficial to the customers as with much less price they get the reliability of the brand the quality guaranteed, the exclusive styles and the comfort that is ever refreshing. This enables the customers to enjoy the products at budgeted cost and thus increases customer satisfaction and more brand popularity.
To the companies the promotion is effective since it gives a good boost to the sales figure making more profit than keeping the products ideal in the showroom for much longer period. Maybe the profit margin is a little less but the companies compromise those gaining more value by selling the jammed stock. Another reason for the companies to give discounts is to clear up stocks of specific variety like before the winter season gone the winter shoes needs to be sold or the same may stuck up for another six to ten months. This also benefits customers to purchase the same beforehand and use it in future time. Thus great deals can be extremely beneficial.

The choice of the young blood
The fierce competition in the market of branded shoes has forced so many manufacturers to look for the innovation in their style and comfort of the shoes. In the earlier days the comfort with the shoe was the main criteria for the selection of the shoe. With the passage of time the comfort factor has been replaced by the style one. The best classical example for it is he high heel shoes. As well as the comfort is concerned they are not very comfortable but they are matchless in their appearance and style. The drawback with the high heel shoes is that the wearer of shoes cannot run very fast in a situation of crisis. The modern generation is giving equal importance to its comfort and the style as well. The market is over flooded with the quality shoes having rich in style and comfort.
The Coach shoes a famous brand of the North America and European countries, has significantly increased their market share in the shoe industry. The story behind the popularity of shoes is the availability of shoes in number of styles and their matchless comfort level. The Coach shoes are the classical example of fine blending of latest style and comfort. The Dansko shoes are the shoes without which story of the quality shoes of the current generation will be incomplete. The durability factor is very high among the Dansko shoes compare to it peers. It has the extensive collection of footwear ranging from shoes to sandals of different types. The Dansko Shoes are the kind of multipurpose shoes fulfilling the objective of casual as well as the official one.
If the comfort is the only criteria then the other ranges of shoes are also available, the sole purpose of these shoes is the comfort one. The Adidas shoes are the one of the most comfortable shoe available in the market. The other attractive feature of the mentioned shoes is that they do not put too much stress on the wallet of the consumer. The shoes are available with so many discount promotions and coupons available on the net. The best option available with most of the brands is that hey come with the manufacturing warranty for specific period and the standard of their after sales service is also high.

Photos: Charlotte Hess wins Emerging Designer competition
Charleston Fashion Week 2011: Finale
Source from: http://www.charlestoncitypaper.com/charleston/charlotte-hess-wins-emerging-designer-competition/Content?oid=3222761
Last year's Charleston Fashion Week Fashion Finale featured fried mac and cheese balls. This year's did not. And oh, how I missed them. Last year's event was also a much more relaxed affair. There were no chairs; we stood while we watched the Emerging Designer finalists present a last look and while Marysia presented her line. It was over in a hot minute, and then the night basically became a giant dance party. It was a great way to ease attendees out of "fashion camp" mode and into some fun.
This year's, finale, however, was nothing like that. It was formatted just like the week's other nights, and it ended up being deja vu all over again. There wasn't really a way around it; the finalists were allowed to show their full collections, and obviously if you'd been there every or almost every night like we City Paper folks have, there weren't very many surprises for much of the evening. As CFW grows and expands, they're obviously going to be met with kinks along the way, and I think this was one of them, but it shouldn't be too hard to correct.
But now onto the fashion. After a performance by Brittany Bosco, who was arguably one of the best dressed people in the tent, the Emerging Designer competition came to a conclusion. It seemed like this year's judges chose the most dramatic presenters from each night to participate in the finale, and each was allowed to show four extra pieces from their line. Charlotte Hess, who seemed like the crowd favorite from the moment her video began, was up first. I wasn't crazy about her collection on Friday night (mostly because I fell madly in love with Isabel Crosby's line), but I was able to appreciate it much more in its second viewing. It looked like the end of the word, its knit pieces being so modern and tribal at the same time. And you can't help but be impressed that the girl can hand-knit a complete pair of high-waisted, wide-legged pants that managed to look damn wearable.
Next up was Stephanie Mejia. "Wait," you say, "she wasn't a finalist." Yeah. I know. But apparently, as Ayoka Lucas explained, the judges insisted that she be added to the lineup. A lot of the people I talked to seemed pretty surprised by this decision, including a couple of Emerging Designers. Frankly, it was an odd choice and needed more justification, especially since it almost seemed to undercut Cody Sai's win. Anyway, Mejia's heroin-chic models wore a couple of strong pieces that we didn't see the first time around, but I still wasn't impressed with her line.
I skipped Thursday night's presentation for fear of being committed for mental and physical exhaustion, so I didn't get to see Michael Wiernicki's first show. But I loved it on Saturday night. Loved loved loved it. It was experimental but wearable, and any of his pieces could easily fit into anyone's wardrobe as a standout to sass things up. I noticed a picture of the robot from Metropolis in his video profile, and I could totally see how the legendary silent film inspired him. His line was so deco and fabulous, he instantly became my favorite.
Then there was Cody Sai. I just want to put him in my pocket and keep him forever, he's so adorable. It was the most simplistic of the night's collections, and unfortunately, I didn't like it as much the second time around (though some of the pieces were still just perfect in my mind).
Veritee Hill was up last. Her collection came off as more costumey than before, though an added look of high-waisted pants and a polka-dot mesh top were stunning.
After the Emerging Designers were done, we were treated to a model walk-off for the Rock the Runway Competition, and then it was on to the break. Afterward, the featured designers had their turn.
Last year's Emerging Designer winner Larika Page blew us all away with her mid-century South Beach collection last year, and her presentation last night proved that it wasn't just a one-off. She showed a line that managed to be equally elegant and edgy. You could wear any of her pieces at a black-tie event and be the most glamorous woman in the room. Even when her last model went out and had to painstakingly make her way down the runway (the full-length gown was very tight and the shoes were very high, a bad combination for mobility), the would-be spectacle was completely overshadowed by the fact that the dress was breathtaking. That girl could have spent all night on the runway for all I cared. Page is undeniably talented, and I think we can be proud that she was launched from our own fashion week.
The night ended with David Yoo, the 2010 Elle/RISD Design Award Winner. He presented a black-and-white line of well-constructed menswear-inspired women's clothing, including shirt dresses, deconstructed jackets, and oversized blazers. It was an impressive, avant-garde way to end the evening.
The winners were announced, with Ajang Majok and Caesar Hingleton. Not surprisingly, Charlotte Hess took home both of the designer awards, though I was crossing my fingers for Wiernicki. She collapsed to her knees when she heard her name announced, and when Ayoka asked her for one word to describe what she was feeling. "Holy crap" was all she managed to get out.
And so, CFW came to an end, and it will probably take a solid year for me — and my feet — to recover.

Discount Shoes: Taking care of wallet
As in the stone age the man used to walk by bare foot, the situations like nail pinching or by other hard substance objects, biting by creeping creatures forced them to innovate something like shoes. This problem persisted for long time but man was not ready to accept defeat. The requirement was growing, the idea generated in the human mind that something necessarily should be done to overcome this problem and finally the shoes came into the existence. The main objective of the shoes was to enhance the safety of the leg. It was very supportive and helpful to different communities like a soldier, hunters, farmers etc by their virtue. It was helpful in running and doing other necessary activities. In modern time the scenario is some what changed. Although the basic objective of the shoe is to provide safety but the trend of the fashion also plays its own role. Thus the shoes have become little bit costlier to achieve both the objectives. As a result shoes available at discount price, known as discount shoes appeared in the market.
The school going kids hardly care about the current fashion trend, thus parent tap this opportunity very well to save some money. They purchase the discount boots available in the market at discounted price. The parents may not care too much about the fancy appearance of the shoes but they are very cautious about the comfort of the shoes. Even the elders also hunt for discount boots but generally customers can compromise in its style and appearance they never want to compromise in comfort. These types of shoes appear in the market when there is overproduction by manufacturers or the product is treated as out of fashion.
The shoes which are made up of leather are known as boots, are of good quality and good from the health point of view in comparison to shoes made of other materials like plastic or Rexene. The some sections of the society having the lower income just buy the cheap boots just to fulfill the basic objective. It is always good idea to buy the discounted shoes of branded companies like Bata, Adidas or Nike just to avoid any health hazard.

Wipiiti's feat of fashion - bright shoes
Source from: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/netball/4798297/Wipiitis-feat-of-fashion-bright-shoes
ROBYN EDIE/Southland Times
SWEET FEET: Southern Steel netball player Daneka Wipiiti with a selection of her brightly coloured New Balance shoes.
It's not hard to spot Southern Steel shooter Daneka Wipiiti out on the netball court.
At 1.94m she's one of the tallest players in the trans-Tasman netball league, but that's not the only reason.
Most netballers are conservative and wear traditional white footwear, but not Wipiiti, who has a fascination for brightly coloured shoes and sports an impressive collection from her sponsor New Balance.
When the ANZ Championship was created four years ago, Wipiiti opted to switch from Asics to New Balance, and is the only netballer in New Zealand to be sponsored by the company.
"I turned over to these guys. No-one had them," Wipiiti said.
"Everyone had Asics, adidas or Nike. I wanted something a bit different. A couple of the other girls want to know if New Balance will take on any more sponsorship now. I hope they don't and stay with me," she laughed.
Wipiiti gets shoes sent to her whenever she requests them or a bright new pair comes into the store. When her daughter Kilani-Mae was born 14 months ago, even she got her own wee pair.
Wipiiti's favourite at the moment is what she dubs "the liquorice pair" – an eyecatching pink, black, blue and yellow colour combination.
Wipiiti is a keen fashionista and said her shoe obsession was all a bit of fun.
"It's one of those things. Tennis girls have their outfits. At the moment, I'm pretty much known for my shoes. It's quite nice to have something a bit different."
Some of Wipiiti's Steel team-mates were a little envious of her amazing array of shoes and she confessed that, now and again, she would let them try them on.
"The other girls have had a run around in them at training. They can try them on and feel important for five seconds.
"They wish their sponsors would pull something like that out for them."
Wipiiti's team-mates are not the only ones coveting her shoes.
A Queensland Firebirds' supporter offered her $300 for her "liquorice" numbers in Brisbane earlier this season.
Wearing such bright footwear means Wipiiti is a constant target for television cameras and spectators, but the Silver Fern international did not feel any extra pressure out on court.
"I have been told if I ever get called for stepping, I'm not allowed to wear them again. (Steel coach) Robyn (Broughton) thinks I'll attract the umpires to my feet."
Wipiiti is a huge lover of the colour purple and admitted it would be her dream to design her own shoe featuring those shades.

Source from: http://savannahnow.com/latest-news/2011-03-17/2011-st-patrick-s-fashion-trend
When it comes to St. Pat’s fashion, 2010 was the year of the cowboy boots. This year was all about wench wear. Pirate lasses were everywhere, from the parade that featured five pirate-themed floats to River Street, where the wenches wore ruffled shirts, leather and green lace and the man dressed up as Captain Morgan to promote his namesake spiced rum drew dozens of disciples.
Last year’s St. Pat’s fashion trend hadn’t died a fad’s death completely. Several women decided to complement green sundresses with cowboy boots only to discover once again boots and cobblestones don’t mix.

Many manufacturing companies have their own showrooms which are a convenient place to get discount shoes which are much preferred by the customers. Discount is a marketing strategy of the business tycoons of the market who wish to push up sales for their products where discounts and offers are major triumph cards. Discounts and offers have direct link with demand of the shoes. When discounts are more demand is more and vice versa. So companies wish to apply this scheme in different times of the year so that the sale of the product remains appreciable and profit is maintained to a certain extent.
Demand of the people as mentioned is mainly focused on quality style comfort and price. There is availability of cheap boots in the market which are much stylish and can be worn at various occasions. Designer shoes keeping in mind the latest trend are much popular way of attracting customers. Even companies make those shoes which have high demands in the market so that their product demand increases and people purchase their shoes more. Quality and comfort however is something which cannot be compromised even with price and the manufacturers always keep this in mind. Even the greatest designs do not get popular if it gives pain to the feet and is not comfortable. So to purchase good quality great comfort with cheaper price is always a great deal.
Reason for Buying discount shoes
Costlier shoes are also not preferred for regular wear by many individuals since the major requirement is comfort and quality and too much expensive style is not required always. In ancient time’s human use to walk barefooted without much idea on how to protect their legs and feet from hard rocks, rough soil, pinches, and insects and creatures pricking the feet with harmful poisons. These hurts started with nominal cuts and bruises but with lack of medicine they became septic and sometimes killing humans too.
With these events occurring every day humans slowly understood the necessity of covering their feet so that it can be protected and in this way shoes were invented. The main purpose at that age was only to provide safety to the feet and especially to the warriors who fight in the battlefield. It is also much benefitted product in case of running as it helps in faster run facilitating a much required quality. But today the definition of shoes has completely changed since people are more inclined to use it as a fashion statement that safety measures. With variety of designs and styles they provide a platform in the fashion world for people to enjoy various stylish shoe creations. Though with quality and design the price of shoes have risen up but still there are discount shoes available enabling customers to have their preferred pair in convenient budget.
The school children are often given discount boots as style is basic in these shoes and the purpose is also only comfort and not style. Hence parents also fetch Leather shoes are more popularly known as boots. People use these boots of branded companies to ensure good quality leathers coming in contact with the skin to avoid skin irritation or allergies. These boots maybe costly but with discount schemes this also becomes affordable for many individuals. People prefer to buy cheap boots of branded companies since this assure lesser price but supreme quality. Skate shoes with a variety in forms
While going to buy the Skate shoes one should keep in mind that they are not comfortable for normal use. They only provide the user with ease and comfort when one is interested in skating, or is intended to do sliding kind of activity. This is because of various facts like the material of shoes is made up of leather. The leather is not ordinary; rather it is made after several compositions. Will it be a McQueen for the princess? As Sarah Burton — who took over as creative director of Alexander McQueen following the designer’s death last year — sent out a collection in Paris on Tuesday that pointed to “The Ice Queen and her court” as the show’s theme, rumors are running rampant that she’s designing a gown for a real (and certainly warmer) princess-to-be. The U.K.’s Sunday Times splashed “Revealed: McQueen designer to make royal wedding dress” across its front page this weekend, but the British house denies the commission for Kate Middleton. A representative for McQueen says, “I can confirm that Alexander McQueen are not making Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.” But with a fall/winter 2011 collection that culminated in not one, but four frothy white gowns fit for a princess, Burton certainly proved she was up for the task. Suggestions for the designer of the dress that Middleton, 29, will wear at her wedding to Prince William on April 29 have ranged from British designers Bruce Oldfield to Philippa Lepley. The palace has consistently said Middleton wants to keep the designer a secret until the big day, though, and a palace spokesman wouldn’t comment Sunday saying this was simply the latest “speculation.” Still, fashionistas are holding out hope that the McQueen rumor will turn out to be true. Only 50 days till we know for sure! –Reporting by Simon Perry and Monique Jessen

Making the Most from Your Camping Experience
Any recreational activity with family or friends is a treat, and when that activity is camping your always in for an extra treat. Not only does camping give people a chance to get close to nature and find refuge from their fast-paced city lives, it also helps them to reconnect with each other in different ways. Making your next camping trip even more enjoyable could be as easy as preparing some fun-filled camping activities. These activities could be as simple as packing up your backpacks together, or as rigorous as setting up the campsite once you arrive. However, what all of these things have in common is the spirit of togetherness.
Camping differs from other types of vacations because it is essentially meant to allow you to unplug yourself from your daily routine, in order to find the beauty in life’s simplicity. With the adventure it brings every step of the way, there is always something exciting waiting. Combine it with these cool and enjoyable activities and your camping trip will be a blast:
- The bonfire huddle – Sitting round’ the campfire at night is one of the best parts of any camping experience. Everyone can pitch in to help build the fire. Once gathered around, there are so many things to do like recounting the day’s adventure or singing some songs together, cooking and eating or spending one night in the tents is always a good way to end the day. After dinner as the flames wind down you can tell ghost stories or gaze in quiet at the stars.
- Playing games together – Games add to the fun even more. Among these, card games are the most enjoyable since anyone in the family can easily carry them in their backpacks. Other games such as checkers, orienteering or identifying the flora and fauna are also popular camping games.
- Team activities – Camping trips are a good way of teaching kids about the importance of teamwork and togetherness. Even physically draining tasks such as setting up the campsite or gathering wood for the fire becomes an exciting activity when everyone does it together.
- Keep a Journal – This is something that not only the kids but the adults should do as well. Don’t forget to carry a small notebook in your backpacks for jotting down your thoughts on everything you see and experience. You will be amazed at how many ideas you have once your mind is clear from all the distractions of the city. Reading those after you return from you trip will be like reliving those fond memories again.
- Draw pictures – This activity can be a great way to engage children during the daytime. Take out that same journal and some colored pencils or watercolors from your backpacks, and ask the children to draw what they see, giving them a chance to really look closely at the environment, Even the adults can enjoy participating in the drawing and painting, making it fun for the whole family..

High Heel Shoes: The elegant look
Many women step out of the front door thinking that they look so complete and yet in actual sense there is something missing out. For most people they concentrate on the clothes and hair and practically forget that the right pair of shoes gives that complete finish. It is very normal for every woman to want to look elegant and sophisticated. Some have the right attire but the final look just does not come out right. This could be attributed to factors such as hair, shoes and probably the design of the clothes. Grooming oneself in order to look fabulous may be exciting and at the same time a little scary. High heel shoes are designed to complete that sophisticated look.
When going to the office, church or important functions, the high heel shoes provide the perfect match. These kinds of shoes are available in different colors and designs. One can simply select the pair that matches the type of outfit that they are wearing. One can take advantage of discount shoes to get a variety of high heel selections in order to complement her wardrobe.
When wearing long pants, it would be ridiculous to go for anything other than the high heel shoes that make the wearer appear taller and more elegant. In case the pants are tight fitting or flared at the bottom these kinds of shoes give that complete finish. For the ladies who love skirt suits, a beautiful pair of high heeled shoes will provide that sophisticated look. In case the skirt is short, the high shoes will bring out the beauty of the legs more strongly.
The beauty about the high heeled shoes is the manner at which they make even the shortest person appear tall. Height brings out elegance and sophistication. The biggest challenge of these shoes is for those who have a lot of weight. They may not feel comfortable wearing these types of shoes. However, it is worth noting that the designers have worked around this to come up with block heels that are able to accommodate the pressure brought in by excess weight. Just like cheap boots, the high heeled shoes have different price ranges depending on the quality of the shoe and the manufacturing company. High heeled shoes bring out that elegance.
The 60s and 70s influence fall-winter 2011 collections at Milan Fashion Week
A little 1960s, a little 1970s and a lot of color. Here's a recap of the best from the first two days of fall-winter 2011 runway shows at Milan Fashion Week.
D&G
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have a formula when it comes to their secondary collection, D&G. They take one theme and milk it for all it's worth.
This season, it was alphabet prints splashed on leggings, tees, oversized sweaters, boyfriend jackets, chiffon shirts and maxi-dresses. In traffic cone orange, taxicab yellow and fluro pink, the letters were Pop Art on the runway, whooshing by like computer code on the information superhighway. The theme continued all the way down to the jewelry - necklaces and bracelets dangling plastic letter charms.
It made for a cute commentary on today's information overload, even if the collection was a bit elementary.
Fendi
After years in the ready-to-wear doldrums, the Fendi collection keeps getting better and better.
For fall, the look was English countryside by way of the art studio. That meant relaxed, smock-like coats with colorful piping, worn with ankle-length pants, all in autumnal shades of rust, moss and mustard.
Sheer plaid blouses and little black dresses came with detachable jabots with wool ruffles that resembled paper cutouts. There were also patchwork furs, color-blocked croc coats and a great inside-out shearling.
For cocktail hour, off-the-shoulder little black dresses came with sheer, blousy, sparkly sleeves.
Accessories included quirky headbands, block-heeled shoes, colored stockings and structured, high-polished calf bags with top handles.
This was a collection built on graphic lines and shapes, as if designers Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Fendi had drawn it with pen on paper. Even the models' hair was given an artists' touch - their untidy updos were tinged with bright color.
Prada
Showing her collection against the backdrop of a two-story, dollhouse-like set, Miuccia Prada brought childlike wonder back to fashion.
The collection revolved around short coats and coat dresses with low-slung belts, oversized buttons and a 1960s vibe. They came in powdery colors, sheer solids or windowpane checks, decorated with contrast piping, shag fur or silver-dollar-sized paillettes that jingled when models walked.
There was a homespun, Butterick-pattern feel to these clothes, a sweet naivete that harkened back to a time before luxury brands had name recognition with toddlers, when style and fashion were learned at home.
Shown with glittery, two-tone boots with Mary Jane-style straps, plush caps with chin straps, and goggle glasses, the collection built on the mod trend we saw at Burberry in London.
But more than that, as the models clutched their handbags close like teddy bears, it was a reminder of how we all fell in love with fashion in the first place - as children playing with dolls and dollhouses, dressing in our Sunday best, and thinking our mothers were the most stylish people on the planet.
Gucci
Gucci designer Frida Giannini cited flame-haired songstress Florence Welch as inspiration for her "contemporary female dandies" dressed in dazzling emerald green, fuchsia, purple and teal.
However she cast it, this wasn't exactly new. But with so many designers mining the 1970s recently, it was probably inevitable that Gucci would take its turn. And the clothes were quite pretty - jewel-toned pantsuits, suede skirts that hit below the knee and slim-fitting coats worn with vibrant fur stoles and plumed fedoras. Other accessories included colorful snakeskin pumps and the new Jackie bag with a long, detachable shoulder strap.
Floaty dresses with scarves that tied at the neck came in colorful silk jersey or see-through fabric, slit thigh-high. Glossy black patent leather boots and skirts added another element of kinkiness.
And just when the eye was beginning to tire of so many bushy fur vests, Giannini sent out flowers instead. Capelets, boleros and stoles, thick with organza, chiffon and silk petals, worn over chiffon gowns.
In a show that felt a bit overly merchandised, this was her most creative and surprising moment.
