When it comes to St. Pat’s fashion, 2010 was the year of the cowboy boots. This year was all about wench wear. Pirate lasses were everywhere, from the parade that featured five pirate-themed floats to River Street, where the wenches wore ruffled shirts, leather and green lace and the man dressed up as Captain Morgan to promote his namesake spiced rum drew dozens of disciples.
Last year’s St. Pat’s fashion trend hadn’t died a fad’s death completely. Several women decided to complement green sundresses with cowboy boots only to discover once again boots and cobblestones don’t mix.
