The 3 W’s for Women’s Shoes

Women’s choice of a pair of shoes to wear on a particular occasion is mostly based on two things. The first one is comfort. If a woman wants to enjoy the occasion, she should not attend it wearing good looking shoes that would make her feel like hell throughout the entire event. The second one is appropriateness. That fancy dress will lose its charm when you wear inappropriate shoes. The inappropriateness can refer to the event or the color of the shoes. In deciding what pair of shoes to wear, women should be guided by the three W’s as elaborated below:

1. What. So, what kind of shoes should a woman wear? Of course the occasion will determine that. A stroll in the park or a visit to the grocery may require only flats or mules. A date would require something different like high heel shoes, pumps or sandals depending on how formal the date is. Regular workouts would require athletic shoes like the New Balance toning shoes which are especially designed for women.

2. When. The choice of shoes to wear will also depend on when you are going to wear the shoes. This pertains to the occasion as well, however, there are shoes that you will wear one time for a particular occasion and there are those that you will wear every day. So, the more frequent that the shoes will be worn, the more comfortable the shoes should be. This is because, the less comfortable it is, the more the wearer will experience the common foot problems like corns and calluses. There are shoes that are good enough to be worn on a daily basis like Dansko shoes.

3. Where. If you want to wear appropriate shoes, you should always consider where you are going to use it. For example, what shoes are you going to wear when you go to a beach party? How about a tea party? Choosing the appropriate shoes for these kinds of parties is essential if you don’t want to stick out in the crowd. What if you are invited to a winter wedding celebration? You should consider wearing winter boots like the popular EMU boots to save yourself from frost bite.

If you think about it, these are actually common sense questions that some people forget to consider probably because they don’t have the time to do so. This serves to remind you, then, that when you answer all of these 3 W’s, you will never go wrong in your choice of shoes in any occasion.
